The Tournament
The Jack & John Memorial Charity Golf Tournament was established with a poignant purpose - to raise funds for research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). This cause holds a deeply personal significance as the founders' nephew, Jack Nelson, tragically passed away at just 3 months old.
The tournament takes the form of a golf event as a heartfelt tribute to Jack's grandfather, John Logsdon, who had a profound love for the game. Following his passing in 2018, this annual golf tournament not only honors his legacy but also aims to bring awareness to SIDS research. Participants can look forward to a day filled with camaraderie, sportsmanship, and the shared goal of supporting a meaningful cause.
All proceeds from the Jack & John Memorial Charity Golf Tournament go directly to the Aaron Matthew SIDS Research Guild, supporting their crucial work in the field of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome research. To help accelerate research at Seattle Children’s, John and Heather Kahan, founders of the Aaron Matthew SIDS Research Guild, are joining to double every dollar donated.
